Restaurants

Going gluten free should not stop you going out. Whether you want to eat at a local restaurant or chain, there are wonderful GF restaurants to eat out.

My Favorite Restaurant for Breakfast:
The Fontaine Caffe and Creperie in Alexandria has divine crepes made with buckwheat flour. I recommend the Savory Californian Crepe, which is filled with eggs, spinach, and tomatoes. For dessert, you can get any of the sweet crepes available, but be sure to request that they are made in the buckwheat flour.

My Favorite Restaurant for Lunch:
Chipotle’s are all over the city. The only thing not GF at Chipotle is the flour tortilla. Be sure to get a salad and top it with any of the toppings you desire. Go to town!

My Favorite Restaurant for Dinner:
The Peacock Cafe is an excellent place to go for a delicious modern American meal. With asterisks, the menu designates which items are gluten free. I recommend the Med Salad to start, the Roasted Organic Scottish Salmon for the main course, and the Chocolate Mousse for dessert.
